Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yutong Bus) covers an area of
1.12 million square meters. Till now, it has become the largest and
the most technologically advanced manufacturing base of large and
medium-sized buses in the world. Listed on the Shanghai Stock
Exchange (referred to as Yutong Bus, stock code: 600066) in 1997,
it is also the first listed bus company in China. As a leading

exceeded 20.8 billion yuan in 2010, up 38.7% year-on-year, among

In August 2006, Yutong was titled National Auto CBU Export Base
Enterprise. And in the same year, Yutong passed the special
investigation carried out by General Administration of Quality
Inspection and Quarantine of the P.R.C and won the first
Certificate of Exemption from Export Inspection in Chinas auto
industry.
In 2008, Yutong found itself in the list of the first batch of
Innovative Enterprises jointly released by the Ministry of Science
and Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration
Commission of the State Council and All China Federation of Trade
Unions, also being the only one in Chinas bus industry. In 2009,
the China Brand Research Institute officially announced 100 brands
of National Business Cards, Yutong was the only bus builder among
the list. In 2010, Yutong was awarded Pride of China in the 2010
Chinese Brand Release of the Year, and was the only one in Chinas
bus industry. In addition, it won Coach Builder of the Year awarded
by BAAV in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2010.
As the No.1 bus brand in China, Yutong buses are really preferred
in various party conferences and state activities, and have been
widely appraised. Amid the Shanghai Expo in 2010, there were 579
Yutong buses carrying the staff and foreign guests from all over
the world. During the 16th Guangzhou Asian Games, over 1,000 Yutong
buses, incl. disable-friendly buses, served the big event. In 2009,
Yutong was the only bus builder which provided both the float and
vehicles for transporting soldiers, students and mass paraders for
the military review of the 60th anniversary of Peoples Republic of
China. In the same year, Yutong appeared at the international
official conference, serving the 4th Ministerial Conference of the
Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in Sharm-el-Sheikh
of Egypt. In 2008, over 2,600 Yutong buses offered commuting
service for Beijing Olympic Games. In addition, Yutong buses could
be seen in many large-scaled sport games and events, such as AFC
Asian Cup, National Games of China, Golden Rooster & Hundred
Flowers film festivals, two sessions of NPC and CPPCC, etc., whose
performance were widely recognized by all sides.
